Travis Sexton

Co-Founder / Partner

Travis is a Partner at Land Use Strategies, where he specializes in pre-entitlement public affairs, strategic communications, and community engagement for complex land use and real estate projects. He helps clients anticipate issues early, shape the narrative, and build public and political support before projects enter the most challenging stages of the entitlement process.

With over two decades of experience in public affairs, political strategy, and real estate-focused communications, Travis brings a campaign-style approach to project advocacy. His work helps developers, property owners, and project teams reduce approval risk, respond to community concerns, and move projects forward in politically sensitive environments.

He received his MBA from Pepperdine University, and BA/BS degrees from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Travis lives in the Bay Area along with his wife, two children, and two chocolate labs. When he's not at home, you can likely find him running or hiking on the trails in nearby Mount Diablo State Park.
